I like to take pictures as I’m driving. Especially when the weather is bad. I figure if I can’t see where I’m going, I may as well make the best of the situation and get some interesting photos out of it. A friend recently stated, “Michigan weather is postmodern… you just never know.” Yesterday there were clear blue skies and now it is snowing. No.
I might post something of some effort in the somewhat near future.

A good friend of mine started blogging. She has lots of thought provoking and interesting posts. Check her out @ http://sarahlynae.wordpress.com/ if you’re looking for a unique perspective on different issues. Excellent reading!
“If the stars would appear but one night in a thousand years how would men believe and adore; and preserve for many generations the remembrance of the City of God?” – Ralph Waldo Emerson
I’m looking forward to watching this documentary when it comes out. Definitely a big issue – something everyone should check out. Even if you think it’s a bunch of bogus. Be “open-minded.” Links to the website and blog can be found on the right sidebar.
2,300 years ago, scientific theory held the universe to be eternal. Through the early 1960s, in face of mounting evidence against this theory, 2/3 of the leading U.S. scientists surveyed still believed in an eternal universe. Guess what? For 3,300 years (yes, 3,300) the Bible denied it, steadfastly claiming there was a beginning to the universe. NOW guess what? In the past 30 years, science has resolved this question. Today, this fact is easily accepted. People forget, or deliberately choose to ignore, that this point was once hotly debated and that what was once argued has now been proven to be true by both science and the Bible – the Bible being the first to state this scientific truth. Based on data from telescopes and particle accelerators, the 3,300 year old Genesis was proven to be correct all along. There was a beginning to our universe. It took telescopes and particle accelerators to figure out what an ancient text stated so firmly – yet casually, without much detail – was true? If only more would pay attention to this.
Steven Weinberg refers to the aforementioned as “the problem of Genesis.” Based on his discoveries and research, however, he agrees that there was a beginning. Even the most firm atheists believe in a beginning as well. The facts are there. And this is only one aspect of creation we are talking about that has undergone an initial rejection…
